Pastor - Brandon L. Crone
"Hello, I am Brandon Crone, Pastor here at Burningtown Baptist Church. It is my honor and privilege to have been Called by God to such an amazing Church Family. My wife Sabrina and I have two beautiful children, Leelyn (6 years old) and Clara (3 years old). Sabrina has been a member of Burningtown Baptist all of her life, and works as Manager of the Macon County Airport. Sabrina also served as Outreach Director, and Youth teacher. Before receiving the Call to Ministry, I served Burningtown Baptist Church as a Deacon, and then as Chairman of The Deacons. From the first moment I walked into this beautiful, historic church building, I have been treated as if I had been part of the Church Family all of my life. I was voted in as Assistant Pastor of Burningtown Baptist Church in May of 2023. I was voted in as Interim Pastor in August of 2023, and voted in as Pastor on October 10th, 2023. Being part of this amazing church family is a true blessing. Being able to serve this family as their Pastor is the greatest honor imaginable."

Dr. Robert "Bob" Orr
Bob is a longtime servant-leader of the church. Bob is currently a Deacon Co-Chairman. Bob has served as Deacon, as well as Deacon for many years. Bob also serves on multiple committees, and has shared his gifts of musicianship and singing for years. Bob is a retired Educator, serving at Georgia College & State University, as well as Western Carolina University. Bob is married to Kathy (not pictured) who is retired from Western Carolina University after many years of service.
Tracy & April Chastain
Tracy has served as Deacon many times. Tracy is a retired Detective for Franklin Police Department, and currently serves Part-Time with the Macon County Sheriff's Department. April is owner of "April's Flowers on Main", and uses her work as an act of Ministry. April is also a gifted singer, and blesses the Church with her musical talents, as well as her love for decorating.
Mark & Robin Doolittle
Mark is currently serving as a Deacon Co-Chairman. Mark is also very active in the church, serving on multiple committees, and works hard to help wherever he can, and has a passion for spreading God's love in many ways. Mark works for Caterpillar. Robin also works for Caterpillar, and is a longtime member of the Church. Robin serves on Church Committees, and is always ready and willing to help the Church in whatever capacity is needed.
Matt & Deloris Baker
Matt was just Ordained as Deacon, and is one of three Deacons recently installed to service. Matt teaches the Men's Bible Study on Sunday evenings and is active in many areas of service to the Church. Matt works for the US Postal Service, and has been a journalist for the Franklin Press in the past. Matt has a passion for people, and loves to tell the stories of the older generations that he interviewed while working for the newspaper. Deloris serves as Children's Ministry Director, and has a true gift of teaching and leading the children.
Daniel & Jordan Reid
Daniel was recently Ordained as Deacon, and Installed to service for the Church. Daniel is a Basic Law Enforcement Training Instructor for Southwestern Community College, and has served the town of Sylva, NC as Police Officer and Detective in the past. Jordan is an Educator for Macon County Schools, serving at Nantahala School. Jordan serves the Church as Clerk, and serves on many committees. She also serves to ensure the Church facilities are clean and well-maintained.
